He obtained his PhD-degree and his habilitation from the mechanical engineering department at the University of Armed Forces Hamburg. Since 2000 he is professor for mechanics at the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Geodetic Science at Leibniz Universität Hannover. His research topics include rolling contact mechanics with special focus on rolling tire modeling. |
