Assistant Research Professor Liang Wang Center for Advanced Vehicular Systems, Mississippi State University 200 Research Blvd Starkville, MS USA 39762 Email: liangw@cavs.msstate.edu Biographical Sketch: Dr. Liang Wang received his B.S. and M.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering in 1998 and 2001 respectively from Xian Jiaotong University in China, and Ph.D. degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Iowa in 2005. He is currently Assistant Research Professor at the Center for Advanced Vehicular Systems at Mississippi State University. His research interest is in the area of solidification modeling, finite elements, heat and mass transfer, stress analysis, with particular application to metal casting, materials joining, and additive manufacturing.
