He has been employed at the Fraunhofer Institute for Integrated Circuits, a non-profit organization for applied research, since 1994 and is currently head of the systems group in the contactless test and measurement department. He is involved in various areas of non-destructive testing, mainly laser and X-ray based testing systems.
