In this function, he is responsible for product analysis active safety and chassis control systems since January 2008. He was born in Wuerzburg, Germany, in 1972. He studied mechanical engineering at the Technische Universität Darmstadt (Germany), graduated as an engineer in 1998 and finished his dissertation “Analysis of dynamic roll stability of passenger cars” in 2003. He started working at the Daimler AG, Mercedes-Benz Cars Development in the Center Active Safety in 1999. Dr. Baumann was awarded an SAE-Award for an excellent scientific study at the SAE-World Congress 2004. |
