Yukio Nakajima

Dr. Yukio Nakajima Kogakuin University Faculty of Global Engineering n/a N/a n/a Biographical Sketch: Dr. Yukio Nakajima is a professor, Faculty of Global Engineering, Kogakuin University, Japan. He was with Bridgestone Corporation from 1977 through retirement in 2010. He was Director, Tire Research Division prior to retirement. In Bridgestone, he developed technology related with tire mechanics such as noise, wear, maneuverability, RR, snow traction, and then studied the application of computational mechanics to tire design by combining FEA with optimization technique. His hobby is mountaineering. He received his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Akron.
