West Lafayette, IN USA 47907 Email: andymj@gmail.com Biographical Sketch: Andrew Jessop is a graduate student at Purdue University studying structural acoustics. He received his bachelor's degree from UC Berkeley in 2004 in Mechanical and Material Science Engineering. After finishing his undergraduate work, he worked for 3 years at Wilson, Ihrig, and Associates doing acoustical consulting for transportation noise, construction, and housing. His Masters Thesis work was focused on the mitigation of low-frequency noise through windows using single-element stiffening. His research made him the recipient of the Federal Aviation Administration's Student of the Year award in 2009. |
