Douglas Blue, Ph.D. Ford Motor Company Vehicle Dynamics 20800 Oakwood Blvd MD 3 Dearborn, MI USA 48121 Email: dblue@ford.com Biographical Sketch: Douglas Blue has worked in vehicle dynamics at Ford since 1994, with involvement in tire testing and modeling, vehicle simulation, and computer tools and methods, as well as a brief stint in Ford Racing. Prior to that he completed a Ph.D. in mechanical engineering at The Pennsylvania State University while working at the Pennsylvania Transportation Institute. His area of study was dynamics and controls, with research application to heavy truck dynamics. He began his professional career in transmission system design at Sikorsky Aircraft, Div of United Technologies. |
