He received his B.Sc. (Eng.) degree from the University of Peradeniya, Sri Lanka, and the M. Eng. degree from the University of South Florida. He is working in a research project on runway friction testing funded by NASA. His current mission is to develop a physically intuitive and practical standardization procedure for tire-pavement friction testing. He enjoys pursuing practically applicable research, especially in the field of tire mechanics. He loves to play cricket and he also follows the game of soccer. Traveling and hiking are his hobbies and he spends his leisure time listening to music, watching movies and gardening. |
