Biographical Sketch: Alina Latshaw earned her M.S. and Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from North Carolina State University under the supervision of Prof Saad Khan. Through her doctoral dissertation, she developed novel electrospinning processes for both polymer melts and solutions, and investigated the gel-formation kinetics of reversible and irreversible networks. She is currently the product specialist for the rubber instrumentation line at TA Instruments, where she consults with customers in diverse applications of rheology and dynamic mechanical analysis.
