2011: Senior Lecturer, Department of Chemical Engineering, Imperial College London, UK 2007-2011: Lecturer, Department of Chemical Engineering, Imperial College London, UK 2006 : Research Associate, Department of Chemical Engineering, Imperial College London, UK 2002-2006: PhD in Chemical Engineering, "Anisotropic Surface Properties of Crystalline Pharmaceutical Solids" Department of Chemical Engineering, Imperial College London, UK My principal area of research is to develop an improved fundamental understanding of the role of surface properties in particle engineering. Research activities include; i) studying the impact of particle engineering unit operations on surface properties (eg. crystallisation, milling); (ii) effects of particle properties on unit operations (eg granuation, drying); (iii) to employ modeling tools for the predictions and control of these operations; and (iv) the development of a gas chromatographic characterisation (inverse gas chromatography, IGC) methodology to determine surface energetic of powders.
