One of the major differences between Off-The-Road tires and any other tires in the industry is the overall size of the tire and the mass of rubber components. Thick section profile can lead to accelerate heat build-up within the tire. The TKPH (TMPH) rating is a measure of work per unit time, and as such is intended to supplement information published by tire industry standards associations and manufacturers [SAE:J1015]. It is very useful to do Operating TKPH (TMPH) analysis for tires running in very comparable conditions and relate the results to the tire construction and materials. In this paper I will focus on operating TMPH and I will analyze the relationship between different variables in correlation with tire testing and quality improvement.
