The use of Single-Walled Carbon Nanotubes (SWCNT) as a reinforcement in rubber nano composites draws a great deal of attention nowadays. Rubber used in this study was NR/SBR blend and was incorporated with SWCNT as nano filler. The influence of SWCNT nanofiller on wear properties (abrasion resistance) of the produced nanocomposite was studied. The nanocomposite were prepared by using brabender internal mixer with 0, 5, 10 and 15 parts per hundred loading of SWCNT in the rubber. The abrasion resistance was tested with DIN tester and the results were analyzed.
