Biographical Sketch: Chad Jasiunas has over a decade of experience within the tire and rubber industry. He began as a Research Engineer at the Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. developing new polymers. One area of concentration was the functionalizing solution SBRs for high performance tire applications. Also at Goodyear he held the positions of Contract Manager: Yarn and Fabric in Purchasing as well as Supply Chain Specialist in the Tire Production Planning organization. Next, he transitioned to the polyurethane spray foam industry to become Fomo Products, Inc.’s Plant Manager and then their Logistics Manager. He then moved to Poland to lead Synthos S.A.’s new polymer R&D department to develop functionalized SBRs. Today, he is working for Lehigh Technologies leading the development of their functional materials. Chad received his B.S.E. in Chemical Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, PA and his M.S.E. in Chemical Engineering from Princeton University in Princeton, NJ.
