Biographical Sketch: Name: Prof (Dr) Golok B Nando M.Sc in Chemistry from Berhampur University, PGDIIT in High Polymer and Rubber Technology and Ph.D in Rubber Technology from IIT Kharagpur, India. Served three years in Rubber Industries and has 35 years of experience in teaching and research in Polymer Science and Rubber Technology at IIT Kharagpur. He has 160 research publications in peer reviewed International Journals and an International patent in five countries. Received the NOCIL award in India and several fellowships abroad. Served as Chairman (Head) of the Rubber Technology Center for six years(two terms) and several administrative positions at IIT Kharagpur. Has guided 15 research students who have been awarded Ph.D degree of the Institute and 40 M.Tech students and 10 undergraduates for their project. Research Areas:  Rubber Compounding and Product Development,  Polymer Blends and Thermoplastic Vulcanizates  Nanomaterial development and Rubber Nanocomposites  Recycling of Plastics and Rubbers
