Biographical Sketch: Dr. Arup K. Chandra a M. Tech & Ph.D. on Rubber Technology from IIT, Kharagpur is presently Working as Head Global ( RM and Compound Development) in M/s. Apollo Tyres Ltd.He is member & fellow members of different professional bodies both in India & Abroad. He has guided more than 40. Nos. of M.Tech / B. Tech Students from different IIT’s and leading universities. He has contributed more than 150 Papers (including conference papers) in different Journal of National / International Repute.. Contributed a chapter, “Recent Advances and Future Trend in Tyre Technology”, in the book, “Current Topics in Elastomer Research” edited by Prof. Anil K. Bhowmick, published by CRC Press, Taylor & Francis, USA (Ref. Section IV; Chapter 32). Co-editor and chapter contributor for Two books - Advances in elastomers I & II, published from Springer, 2013. Total nos of chapter contributed – 7.He has five patents in his credit. He is recipient of several awards.
