Biographical Sketch:
PhD,Polymer Engineering and Science, Academy of Sciences MSc, Applied Mathematics, Institute of Electronic Machine Building MSc, Chemical Engineering, Azerbaijan Institute of Oil and Chemistry Distinguished Professor of Polymer Engineering at University of Akron, Editor-in-Chief of Advances in Polymer Technology. He studies polymer and composite processing. Received Young Scientist Award, OMNOVA Solutions Signature University Award, Melvin Mooney Distinguished Technology Award, Stafford Whitby Award from ACS Rubber Division, Silver Medal from Institute of Materials (London), Vinogradov Prize from Society of Rheology (Moscow), NorTech Award, White Award of PPS, SPE International Award. He is Fellow of SPE. Co-authored 2 editions of monograph, edited 7 books, published 235 papers in journals, 32 chapters in books, 7 papers in encyclopedias, 158 in proceedings, 26 patents. Advised 42 PhD, 36 MSc and 28 postdocs. Served on editorial and advisory boards of journals. Prior to joining University in 1983, Isayev conducted research at Cornell University, Technion, Academy of Sciences.
