Biographical Sketch:
The co-author began his career with Dow Corning in 1996 following five years as a staff scientist in the field of environmental consultancy. He has held positions with Dow Corning in plant operations - Hemlock Semiconductor Corporation, as Applications Engineering & Technical Service with Dow Corning's Engineered Elastomers Business focusing mainly on liquid silicone rubber (LSR) product development, testing, and technical support. Special projects include work on selectively adhesive LSRs for overmolding applications, and optimization of LED silicone elastomers for injection molding. Experienced with Design of Experiment test methodology and maintain 6-Sigma Greenbelt certification. Currently provide technical support for XIAMETER(R) brand thermoset rubber, RTV, and sealant customers for North America. The co-author is a graduate of Central Michigan University where he earned a Bachelors of Science degree in Biology, and minors in Natural Resource Management and Sociology.
