Biographical Sketch: Gert-Jan van Ruler obtained a BSc in Polymer Science (Utrecht, NL). He started his career with Hercules (acquired by Eastman 2001) in 2000 working in the Product & Process Development group, and he moved to the Product Application Development group in 2007. He is currently working as Application Specialist and is responsible for technical service and application development for the tires, tapes, labels, chewing gum, plastic modification and road marking industries.
