Biographical Sketch: Pete received his BS in Chemistry from Villanova University and his Ph.D. degree in Analytical Chemsitry from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. On graduation he joined Hercules Inc at their Research Center in Wilmington, Delaware where he managed the HPLC labs in the Central Analytical Division. Much of his analytical work was dedicated for technical service for the Peroxide business unit of Hercules. Eventually he became the manager of the peroxide development labs at Hercules. A few years later the business unit was sold to GEO Specialty Chemicals where he continued as manager of the peroxide labs as well as taking on additional responsibilities as Manager of Regulatory Affairs. After spending seven years with GEO, the business unit was sold to Arkema where Pete is currently a Senior Research Scientist. He has been granted seven patents and has written several articles on peroxide-polymer interactions.
