Biographical Sketch: Dr. Kazuhisa Fukutani is a senior researcher of Fluid & Thermal Engineering Research Section, Mechanical Engineering Research Laboratory, Kobe Steel, ltd. He has engaged in research and development of industrial machineries, including twin-screw extruders and internal mixers recently, by mainly numerical flow and heat transfer analysis for almost 20 years in the company. He received his doctor of engineering from Kobe University and his master of engineering from Kyoto University.
