Biographical Sketch: I have worked in the rubber industry for 36 years since completing my bachelor degree in Chemistry at Drake University. I started working in tire manufacturing doing both laboratory testing and plant support. After almost 9 years, I transitioned into molded goods where I have held a variety of compounding, process engineering, and material design positions. My current position is Chief Chemist at Minnesota Rubber where I am responsible for new material development and compound development for the agricultural, automotive, and industrial market sectors.
