Biographical Sketch: Dr. Bijan Kumar Roy, a Ph.D. and Post Doctoral Fellow on Chemistry from IIT , Kanpur is presently working as General Manager – R&D and Technical Services in M/s Phillips Carbon Black Limited since January, 2013. His previous responsibility was as Head - R&D and Technical Services in M/s. Madhu Silica Pvt. Ltd. during the period June 2008 to December 2012. Earlier Dr. Roy worked in Research & Technology of Apollo Tyres Ltd., Vadodara for 10 years. He also worked in HASETRI as an In-charge of Analytical & Chemical Division during 1995 to 1998 before joining to Apollo Tyres Ltd. He has contributed more than 25 Papers in different Journals. He has been associated with various professional bodies / institutes – American chemical Society, Indian Chemical Society, Indian Societies of Analytical Scientist, Indian Thermal Analysis Society are a few of worth mentioning.
