Biographical Sketch:
Sangita Singh is a research scholar at Rubber Technology Centre (RTC) of Indian Institue of Technology, Kharagpur. She is doing Ph.D. under the joint supervision of Prof. T.K.Chaki and Dr. Nikhil K Singha. Presently, she is associated with ISRO sponsored project entitled Study on improvement of adhesion of EPDM based nanocomposites by RF plasma treatment in solid rocket motor thermal insulation application. She has more than four years of research experience including two years of R & D (Tata Steel, Jamshedpur). She has published two papers in different reputed international Journals. Two patents are under the process of filing. There is one more patent on her credit (Appl. No. 602/KOl/2010) during her working period at Tata Steel, Jamshedpur. She has presented her work to international and national conferences and has achieved Dr. Shantinath Ghosh Memorial Award for best oral presentation. She also got two best poster awards.
