Biographical Sketch: Dr. Michael Jacobsson is a Research Scientist at Sid Richardson Carbon & Energy Co. where his interest and focus is on new product discovery and development. Michael received a B.Sc. in Biology and a B.A. in Chemistry followed by a M.S. degree in Chemistry from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas. He received his PhD in Chemistry from The University of Texas at Austin with an emphasis on materials development and testing for the semiconductor industry. While pursuing his doctoral studies he received extensive exposure to cross-disciplinary and industry collaborations leading to several publications and patent applications. Michael has been with SRCE since fall of 2011 and has presented product development work at several conferences including ACS and ITEC.
