Biographical Sketch: Working for Smithers Rapra in tire test R&D and project management for two years – Projects : NHTSA Tire Compliance Testing, National Tire Rolling Resistance Alignment Laboratory, etc. Previously, a graduate research assistant in tire/pavement friction studies at the University of South Florida - ME (2008), MME (2011) and PhD (2011). Lecturer/Instructor at the University of Peradeniya (UoP), Sri Lanka (2006). BSc from UoP – Award: Best Performance in Mechanical Engineering (2006). Three publications in tire/pavement friction measurement, modeling and standardization. Seven conference presentations in tire/pavement friction and rolling resistance.
