Biographical Sketch:
Kushal Bahl is a PhD candidate at the University of Akron’s Department of Polymer Engineering. He received his B.tech degree in Polymer Engineering from Institute of Chemical Technology (formerly UDCT), Mumbai, India in 2008 and his M.S. degree in Polymer Engineering from University of Akron in Fall 2010. He continued at the University of Akron for his PhD under Dr. Sadhan Jana. In addition to the Ohio Rubber Group’s graduate student award, he won the Victor I. Montenyohl scholarship for rubber chemistry in Fall 2012. Currently, he is also working part time as a graduate industrial intern in PolyOne Corporation, Avon Lake, Ohio.
