Plasticizer for the Rubber Industry Based On Vegetable Oils

Due to different trends – CO₂-emission and other environmental aspects, crude oil price development and availability – but also due to results which cannot be achieved with classical plasticizers based on mineral oil, also the rubber industry is interested in new materials based on more sustainable resources.

This paper shows new possibilities of a class of new developed plasticizers based on Sunflower oil and other typical agricultural products. But it tries also to sensitize the auditorium about their responsibility of our environment.
