Mr Jagdish Patel Elastomers.Org 9 Wynnstay Gardens Ruabon United Kingdom LL14 6EJ Email: jrpatel@mac.com Biographical Sketch: Jagdish started work in the rubber industry at a leading custom compounder in the UK working for all industry sectors using all the available elastomers at the time. During this time he gained experience with the spread coating of fabrics with polymer pastes. Jagdish moved on to Gates Rubber where he worked with compounds for the world famous green wellington rubber boots, timing belts, industrial sheeting, flooring and conveyor belts. This experience was put to good use at DSM Elastomers (now Lanxess) where he spent many years in technical service in Europe and the USA. His last years at DSM took him into the realms of global demand and supply of EPDM. He contributed to many initiatives seen in EPDM today. Later he moved to a specialised family run customer compounder before joining Hexpol.
