Prior to joining GlycosBio, Mitchell was the Controller for Serimax, a global oilfield service company specializing in automatic welding technology for construction of pipelines. Before Serimax, Mitchell was Vice President and Corporate Controller of WCA Waste Corporation, a Nasdaq-listed, national solid-waste company with fully integrated operations focused in south-central and southeast US. Mitchell also held the position of Controller for GulfMark Offshore, Inc., a publicly traded, international oilfield service company, operating supply boats in the North Sea, Brazil, Southeast Asia and West Africa. He began his career as an Auditor for Arthur Andersen focusing on emerging market companies. Mitchell graduated from Abilene Christian University with a BBA in Accounting and from Houston Baptist University with a MBA in Finance. Mitchell has been a certified Texas CPA since 1993. |
