Amy Randall Bridgestone Americas Tire Operations 10 East Firestone Blvd. Akron, OH USA 44317-0001 Email: randallamy@bfusa.com Biographical Sketch: Dr. Amy Randall is currently section manager of the Advanced Materials group at Bridgestone Americas Tire Operations in Akron, Ohio. Dr. Randall’s responsabilities include: developing raw material strategies in new tire compounds to meet market performance requirements, evaluate the latest generation recycled and renewable raw materials for use in tire applications, and low VOC technology development. Dr. Randall obtained her Bachelor degrees in Chemical Engineering and Chemistry in 2002 from The University of Minnesota-Twin Cities. Her Ph.D. was completed in 2006 from The University of Akron in the Polymer Science Department, specializing in The Transitional Flow Behavior of Entangled Polymer Solutions. She is committed to community involvement through volunteerism and was awarded the 2011 Women of Professional Excellence Award for the greater Akron area. |
