Associate professor at the same Institute, since 2002. In 1989 obtained her doctoral degree at the University of Freiburg. Since 1982, she is involved with the syntheses and characterization of polydienes as well as the deformation mechanism of rubbery networks. In 1996, intensified her interest in the area of Science and Technology of Rubber, mainly chemical modification of diene rubbers, polymer-filler interactions in rubber compounds and processing and characterization of thermoplastics elastomers. Supervised 14 masters and 6 Ph.D. candidates at the pos-graduated program of Chemistry and Materials Science at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul. |
