Beek Waldo Beek is currently a section head research and innovation at Akzo Nobel Functional Chemicals active in the areas of crosslinking chemicals. His professional education started at the Eindhoven University of Technology (MSc in Chemical Engineering and Chemistry), after obtaining a PhD degree at the same university he moved to the United Kingdom for a post doctoral fellowship at the University of Cambridge. In 2006 he joined AkzoNobel as a researcher and he is currently leading a group of researchers aiming at development of peroxides and other chemicals for application in rubber and polyolefin crosslinking. |
