Marketing Mijnweg 1 Geleen Netherlands 6167 AP Email: Marjan.Urk-van@lanxess.com Biographical Sketch: Marjan van Urk is Master of Science in astrophysics and did a minor in business economics. Her master thesis was about X ray spectra of quasars as a function of redshift. She started working for DSM in 2006 as internal marketing consultant, active in several projects in different business units of DSM on a global scale focused on pricing. She joined the Elastomers division of DSM by the end of 2008 as Global Marketing Coordinator, where she was active in marketing planning and market analyses and run several projects. As of January 2010 she is Business Development Manager KeltanŽ Eco for DSM as well as LANXESS, active in all aspects of preparing the launch of Keltan Eco, from preparation of the first run to communication. Marjan is currently doing an executive MBA and she recently became mother of a son. Her hobbies are cycling, traveling, reading and playing cello. |
