Professor Ica Manas-Zloczower Case Western Reserve University Macromolecular Science & Engineering 10900 Euclid Avenue Cleveland, OH USA 44106 Email: ixm@case.edu Biographical Sketch: Ica Manas-Zloczower received BS and MS degrees in Chemical Engineering from Polytechnic Institute Jassy, Romania and a Doctor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the Technion-Israel Institute of Technology. Since 1985 she is at Case Western Reserve University and is currently the Thomas W. and Nancy P. Seitz Professor of Advanced Materials and Energy in the Department of Macromolecular Science and Engineering. She is also the Associate Dean for Faculty Development for the Case School of Engineering. Professor Manas-Zloczower is the recipient of the 2012 George S. Whitby Award for Distinguished Teaching and Research. Since 2011 she is the President of the International Polymer Processing Society. She is also a fellow of the Society of Plastics Engineers and the Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Polymer Engineering. She was elected to the Board of Directors of Extrusion Division of the Society of Plastics Engineers in 2000. |
