Senior Research Scientist Mihail Ionescu Pittsburg State University 625 Windsor Cir Pittsburg, KS 66762 Email: mionescu@Pittstate.edu Biographical Sketch: Mihail Ionescu obtained his Master’s degree and Ph.D. in Chemistry and Technology of Macromolecular Compounds at Faculty of Industrial Chemistry, University Polytechnica, Bucharest, Romania. He worked at Institute of Chemical Research, Bucharest, for more than 30 years in the group for the synthesis of polyols for polyurethanes. He was the head of polyether polyols team, head of Polymer Synthesis Department, Scientific Director and President of Scientific Council of Institute of Chemical Research, Bucharest. He is currently Senior Research Scientist at KPRC, Pittsburg State University, Pittsburg, Kansas. His special interests are bio-based polymeric materials from vegetable oils, polyurethanes and organic synthesis in general. |
