Michael Roland Naval Research Lab Chemistry Division Washington, DC USA 20375 Email: roland@nrl.navy.mil Biographical Sketch: Mike Roland received a B.S. from Grove City College and a Ph.D. from the Pennsylvania State University, both in chemistry. He is head of the Polymer Physics Section at the Naval Research Laboratory in Washington, D.C. From 1991 to 1999 he was technical editor of Rubber Chemistry & Technology and authored Viscoelastic Behavior of Rubbery Materials, published in 2011 by Oxford University Press. He resides with his wife Carol in Waldorf, MD; they have three children and two grandchildren.
