His PhD research was in the area of polymer-clay nanocomposites. Currently, he is post-doctoral fellow in the Department of Chemical Engineering at The University of Texas at Austin working with Prof. Donald Paul. His current research involves developing strategies using various mixing protocols to stabilize dispersed polymer phase in immiscible blends using modified clay and understanding the effects of polypropylene molecular weight and elastomer type on the toughness of TPO nanocomposites to achieve desired mechanical properties.
