With the increase in the number of vehicles and means of transport, the number of waste tires also increases, raising the question on what to do with them. One of the solutions is tire recycling. One of the way of tire recycling  is devulcanization of waste car and trucks  tire. This paper reviews the use of devulcanized rubber in NR/SBR compound. The research was carried out using a number of different types of tests and measurements of rubber compound properties with the aim of finding the best ratio of devulcanized rubber in NR/SBR compound. Guidelines to what percentage of devulcanized rubber should be added in a NR/SBR compound without affecting the mechanical (exploitation) properties of finished rubber products are also provided in the paper.
