Jerome Parmer, Ph.D. Consultant 265 Main St Chester, NJ USA 07930 Email: jlparmer@mac.com Biographical Sketch: Jerry Parmer has worked on product and technology development for the BD Diagnostics Preanalytical Systems business since joining the company in 2002. He has enjoyed leading a variety of multi-disciplinary programs that target improved patient outcomes by improving clinical diagnostics. The assessment of how product design and material selection influence specimen integrity and diagnostic accuracy is a particular interest. Prior to joining BD Jerry held a variety of R&D roles at GE Plastics and AlliedSignal ranging from bench research to six sigma quality efforts as well as program and technology management. He has made key contributions to the launch of new products and development of new process technology in a variety of materials and applications. He obtained his B.S. in Chemistry from the University of California at Santa Barbara and a Ph.D. in Polymer Science and Engineering from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst.
