She is a director of the West Pomeranian Center of Advanced Technologies and head of the Division of Biomaterials and Microbiological Technologies. She was a researcher at the Department of Polymer Engineering, University of Bayreuth, Germany in 2000-2003, and a fellow of the Royal Society fellowship at the Imperial College London in 2005. Her main research interests are in step-growth polymerization reactions, thermoplastic elastomers, macromolecular engineering, polymers for implants, polymer microscopy, mechanical behaviour of polymers and composites, degradation processes, hydrogels, stimuli responsive polymers.
