Throughout a career spanning a wide variety of technologies and disciplines he has maintained a special interest in mineral fillers for elastomers and has practical experience of a wide range of compounds based on both natural and synthetic rubbers. Previous areas of research activities include aspects of clay mineral surface chemistry and the electrical properties of mineral filled EPDM for cable applications. His current role with Imerys is focused on new product development and he is based in Cornwall in the UK. |
