With continually rising raw materials costs, especially for polymers, rubber product manufacturers are striving to contain product costs by using alternate materials.  The use of Micronized Rubber Powder, (MRP), while helping to solve the environmental problem of end-of-life tires, is one such alternate material to help reduce costs.  This paper explains how best to use MRP and the ways to optimize important physical properties.
