CANCELLED: Bungee Cords Development

ABSTRACT:

            With the use of different rubber compounds, several bungee cords were molded using compression molding. The tensile and hardness properties of each of these compounds were used to predict bungee cord performance. An excel spread sheet program was developed that analyzed the modulus and elongation at break to simulate the actual performance of the bungee cord under a loaded weight of 5kg.
