Biographical Sketch:
Federico Milani graduated (Summa cum laude) at the University of Padua in 1967. He was researcher at Montedison, ENIChem and CRN (National Research Council) from 1970 to 1999. Since 1999 he has been manager of the society CHEMCO (Italy). His research interests include the development of new numerical models for the optimal vulcanization of thick rubber items by means of both sulfur and peroxides. He is author of several papers in this field (Journal of Applied Polymer Science, Computers & Chemical Engineering, Macromolecular Theory and Simulations, Journal of Mathematical Chemistry). He is also involved in the development of Genetic Algorithms models to optimize the final properties of rubber compounds.

Papers:
