Biographical Sketch: Emanuele Finazzi earned a degree in Materials Science from the University of Milan, in 2005, with a thesis about modeling of CO adsorption on MgO surface. From 2005 to 2008 he studied the effect of intrinsic and extrinsic defects (doping) on electronic and catalytic properties of oxides (TiO2 in particular), with a theoretical-computational approach, at the University of Milan. At the end of this period he got a PhD in Materials Science. In 2009 he took a master course in science and technology of polymers, in Alessandria. Since october 2009 he is employed in the technological center of Maris company, manufacturer of twin-screw extruders.
