Biographical Sketch:
Lisa Knight obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in chemistry from Queen's University in Kingston, Ontario in 1998 and than went on to graduate with her PhD from the University of Calgary for studying organometallic coordination chemistry in 2003. Afterwards, she spent two years at the University of Amsterdam designing and synthesizing late transition metal catalysts for homogeneous polymerizations. Lisa joined LANXESS Global Butyl Rubber R & D in London, Canada as a senior research chemist in 2007. As a project leader in the Product Research group, Lisa has focused on the development of new "butyl-like" polymers and the performance properties of these novel peroxide curable materials.
