Biographical Sketch:
Biography After Peter Lipp completed his electrical engineering degree in Reutlingen, Germany he worked for 10 years for AEG-Telefunken, a large German based electrical firm. Peter spent time in South Africa, Mozambique, Egypt, Nigeria, and Saudi Arabia managing construction and start-ups of manufacturing and power plants. He joined Krauss-Maffei in Germany as service manager in 1985 and moved to the U.S. to establish the technical support group for the newly formed U.S. injection molding division in 1987. Peter, with his vast knowledge in electrics, hydraulics, mechanics, and processing, marketing and management, held positions as Technical Manager, Regional Manager and General Manager. At LWB Sales & Service, he headed the sales of rubber injection molding machines as VP of Sales for North America. Starting in February 2009 he is owner of YellowBox Technologies, LLC a consulting firm supporting the Thermoplastic, Thermoset and Rubber Industry Within SPE, he has served as Secretary, ANTEC Technical Program Committee, Councilor, Chair-elect and the 2003 Chairman of the Thermoset Division. He is also a member of the Injection Molding Division's Technical Program Committee, the TPC Chair for ANTEC 2002, the Chair-elect and the 2004-2007 Chairman. He's been very active in SPE Council: Executive Committee Member, Division Committee Chair, Prestige Committee Chair as well as chairman of several Ad Hoc committees. He's also a contributor to the Engineer's Toolbox. For his contribution Peter received in 2004 the Honored Service Member Award. Since September of 2004 he is a US Citizen.
