Biographical Sketch: Sam Harber is a Senior Chemist in the Hydrin®/ECO Application Development Group with Zeon Chemicals L.P. At Zeon, he has also had other assignments in General Technical Service, Zetpol/HNBR, and Zeotherm/ TPV Groups.
Sam is a second-generation rubber compounder and has over 30 years experience in the rubber industry having worked in numerous technical and production roles for Brad Ragan Inc. (a former subsidiary of the Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company), Patch Rubber Company and Freudenberg-NOK G.P. He has been with Zeon Chemicals for 10 years.
He has a bachelor’s degree in chemistry from Radford University in Radford, Virginia. Sam resides with his wife and two daughters in the southern Indiana community of Sellersburg.
