Using the process for devuclanizing or rejuvenating rubber scrap that was developed and commercialized, we were able to produce high quality Thermoplastic Rubbers (TPR) of various hardness and physical properties with an additional step of incorporating a thermoplastic resin such as TPO, PE or PP or a combination of them. The product can be made from various polymer scraps such as Butyl, Tire Rubber-blends of SBR and Natural Rubber, EPDM, Natural Rubber and SBR. The product is competitive in cost and exhibits all of the characteristics of TPRs made from purely virgin polymers.

This paper would illustrate these attributes.
