Functional nanostructured Elastomer-Composites
T. Alshuth, U. Assmann, D. Belusova, T. Steinke and Robert H. Schuster Deutsches Institut für Kautschuktechnologie e. V. Robert.Schuster@DIKautschuk.de Novel elastomeric composites have been obtained by mechanical incorporation of functional fillers. On the one hand functionalized magnetic and supraparamagnetic particles have been introduce in order to achieve switchable mechanical properties by selective particle orientation in the matrix. On the other hand nanofibers obtained by electrospinning were use as such or filled with magnetic particles (hybrid fibers) or transformed to carbon fibers. The spectrum of physical-mechanical properties of the composites is investigated comparatively as a function of the filler orientation.. |
